MOYES has had a pop at the buying trend in this summer's market which has seen plenty of average players sold for mega bucks.
It's hard to disagree with him, but that's life. Them's the breaks...
Here's another hard one to swallow - Everton WILL go backwards unless we strengthen further. Worst case scenario, it could be like the 05/06 season all over again.
How can we not learn from that debacle? Every other side is strengthening. Some from positions of newly-acquired wealth (Villa, West Ham, Liverpool), others not (Wigan, Boro.)
I don't think we can afford not to....
Moyes' words are below....what do you think?
"I can understand that because I've been a supporter, in fact I still am a supporter, but we're always quite cagey here and we don't give too much away partly because people know that we don't have the funds to compete at the top end," he said.
"I think there has been some irresponsible buying and spending by some clubs and it makes it a bit more difficult if you've got less money to spend than that."

Just wait Mr O'keeffe. Moyes has something in the pipeline, I can feel it. If it means not spending £6 million on simply a good standard of championship player then I don't blame his stance. Apart from the money men, who's made a real impression this summer? Maybe Reo-coker or Bale are stand-out buys but apart from that, over priced fees for over hyped players.
Wish list would include Yakubu, Baines and an exciting winger that can cross a ball for the about to explode Beatts!
Surely Moyes wouldn't risk another yo yo season... would he?
