SO MR Reliable Tim Howard played through the pain barrier with a dislocated finger during the USA’s friendly game with Brazil.
Yeah, cheers for that Tim.
I DECIDED on a self-enforced 48 hour blogging ban after Thursday’s game.
It was to give me time to cool down and get a sense of perspective on that shambles. If I’d blogged Thursday night it would have been a rant.
THE jokes have done the rounds, the wikipedia entries scoured and now there’s nothing else to do other than watch us actually play Metalist Kharkiv tonight.
Along with other ECHO blues I’ve got to admit a sense of trepidation based on the unknown quantity of tonight’s opponents.
SO FINALLY, shorn of all other options and desperation kicking in, McLaren has come calling to Goodison.
Despite what I have written earlier, it was surely only a matter of time before Lescott got the call.
MAYBE it was a sign.
Two days after I include Tommy Grav in my list of best ever foreign signings for the blues, and the mad-arse Dane is back in Royal Blue.
