I SHOULD voice my pessimism more often if I'm going to get my eye wiped as emphatically as I did on Wednesday.
ANOTHER DERBY draw has left our silverware hopes still in the balance and before we've got time to breathe, Arsenal are heading to town.
THE body language of David Moyes and Tim Cahill after last night's draw at Anfield was almost as satisfying as the well-deserved point.
I USED to think Guillem Balague was alright a few years back.
His insightful analysis of La Liga was always interesting and a million miles from the cliche-ridden garbage trotted out by ex pro's on most UK footy programmes.
THERE will be the usual controversy, recriminations and hyperbole once the whistle has gone on the anticipated derby double-header.
HINDSIGHT is obviously not something David Moyes had the benefit of at 4pm on Saturday.
EVERTONIANS are hopefully learning to see through the froth and bluster of the red-top national newspaper sport desks.
