September 2009 Archives
WE HAD some great European away days last year, but I think it's fair to say Everton's visit to the historic city of Florence wasn't one of them.
AS PREDICTED the goal glut stopped on Saturday and we endured a hard fought, on the whole only just deserved win at Pompey.
THEY say there's nowt as thick as thieves, but did the scum who burgled Phil Jageilka not realise he is injured?
WHAT A DIFFERENCE a few weeks make.
We've gone from fearing for the season after the sapping Fulham defeat, to being optimistic again and dreaming of cup finals and top five finishes.
PHIL Neville's injury setback poses a shedload of tactical questions for the Blues' boss.
THE signing of promising Leeds youngster Luke Garbutt caused few ripples in July, apart from some mild interest when he announced the move on his Facebook page.
APOLOGIES for the intermittent blogging lately. Day job keeps rudely intruding on my Everton musings and grumbling.
