DON'T BELIEVE THE SH*TE

By Greg O'Keeffe on Jan 6, 09 08:49 AM

EVERTONIANS are hopefully learning to see through the froth and bluster of the red-top national newspaper sport desks.

WHERE IS THE LOVE? (sorry...)

By Greg O'Keeffe on Dec 22, 08 09:23 AM

FOOTBALLERS make you laugh don't they?
After David Moyes has admitted that our paucity of striking options mean he is interested in everyone/anyone, comes this admission from insanely-named Brazilian Wagner Love.

SPURS COMPARISON

By Greg O'Keeffe on Dec 16, 08 10:36 AM

GREETINGS bluenoses. It looks like we're going to have to wait a wee bit longer still to hear of Destination Kirkby's fate.

GOODISON PANNED

By Greg O'Keeffe on Nov 17, 08 10:29 AM

I'M ALL for reasoned debate, rare as it is, over our proposed move to Kirkby.
For someone who is essentially for remaining in the city of Liverpool, sometimes I'm as mistrusting of the 'Kirkby is Hell' naysayers as I am of the club's constant spin.

OUR KIDS ARE ALRIGHT

By Greg O'Keeffe on Nov 13, 08 10:16 AM

ALTHOUGH Everton's season appears to be clambering back on track, it still seems like there's a pretty huge gap between us and our loveable neighbours lately.

DROPPING THE UNDROPPABLES?

By Greg O'Keeffe on Nov 4, 08 10:26 AM

DOES anyone else still feel a bit listless about our season since the hefty blow of exiting the Uefa cup at the first hurdle?

SCREECH AND SPURS

By Greg O'Keeffe on Oct 31, 08 12:06 PM

IT'S TOO early to say Screech has confounded his critics entirely and suddenly looks a bona-fide £15m player.

ONCE A BLUE...

By Greg O'Keeffe on Oct 29, 08 04:07 PM

BIT of a cop-out blog today I'm afraid. I've been snowed under with stuff for the Echo relaunch and unable to get some consistent blogging going. Don't worry though loyal readers (all four of you), I'll be back in business next week.
In the meantime here's a column I did in the paper today on He Who Must Not Be Mentioned.
Let's hope we get a result at Bolton tonight and sow the seeds of our season's revival.
Coyb.
Greg

HERE'S the rational argument; Wayne Rooney is a talented footballer who played for his hometown club before transferring to a richer club for a huge sum of money, which proved very helpful to his first employers.

SIGNED, SEALED, DELIVERED?

By Greg O'Keeffe on Oct 15, 08 10:12 AM

FINALLY after much dithering, suspense and polite financial wrangling, David Moyes has signed his new contract.

RUMOURS

By Greg O'Keeffe on Oct 14, 08 10:28 AM

IT was a weekend of rumours and denials surrounding take overs and other such matters.
In the space of an hour on Friday I'd had six texts with a variation on the theme that we were getting taken-over by the Indians sharp-ish.
